The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has today on Monday 8th August 2022 released the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for School Candidates, 2022 in Nigeria.
WAEC has reported that 76.36% of Nigerian students that took the examination obtained a minimum of five credit passes including English language and Mathematics.

You cannot check your WAEC result without purchasing the scratch card pin. It is only with the WAEC pin that you can use to check your result.

Here is the procedure to check your WAEC result online;
- Open the Google Chrome browser on your phone
- Go to the official WAEC result checker page
- Enter the ten (10) digits of your WAEC examination number
- Select examination year in the drop-down menu
- Select your examination type
- Enter your scratch card pin
- Enter your examination serial number
- Click on submit to view your WAEC result
WAEC Result SMS Checker
This method allows you to see your WAEC result using SMS at the rate of thirty (30) naira.
Here is the procedure how to check your WAEC result through SMS;
- Open the text message app on your phone
- Select Send New Message
- Type your WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
- Enter 32327 for the receiver
- Click on send message
- You will receive your WAEC result via SMS

Buy WAEC Scratch Card Pin
The place to buy the WAEC scratch pin is any WAEC office in your location.
In addition, you can get it at a cyber café in your area or at your secondary school.
You can only use a scratch pin to check your WAEC result five (5) times. After which, you would have to buy another scratch card.
Also, you cannot check two different WAEC results with a single scratch card. It is one result to one scratch card.

Therefore, you will have to print your result with a computer.
You would need to get a laptop to check your WAEC result.
