but what I saw on the Joint Tax Board was for registered taxpayers and not for those that want to get registered cause it’s requesting for registered phone number and all that. I feel the portal is for those that want to make verification on their registered profile or account.

Great tutorial you shared here, thank you. I followed the link to the verification portal of Joint Tax Board, inputted my BVN and got my TIN, and even downloaded the certificate with my TIN number.

But when I visited Visit the FIRS link to verify my TIN, it says record not found, I tired TIN, Phone…https://apps.firs.gov.ng/tinverification/

Does it mean my TIN Number is not authentic or what am I missing?

Thanks, Gman, for the feedback.

You would have to wait for the system to verify your TIN.

But if you cannot verify your TIN after a week, you would have to visit the FIRS office in your State.
