Gross anatomy deals with the macroscopic study of the body’s structures like the bones, cartilage, nerves, and other physical components.
Histology is the microscopic study of the human body cells and tissues.
Human anatomy is a lucrative course to study at Nigerian universities. It is a good course for students interested in academics, Medicine, and further studies abroad.
Studying human anatomy in Nigerian universities is four (4) years with one (1) year for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

An individual with a B.sc in Anatomy can also study nursing through Accelerated Nursing programs. Though these programs are not popular or known in Nigeria, it takes about 12-18 months at least and 3 years at most.
