Qualifications
Professor
The candidate must have a PhD degree or Fellowship from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in a relevant field.
He must have published a minimum of twenty-five (25) Scientific Journal articles.
At least six (6) such journal articles must be in Impact Factor-rated journals.
The candidate must have successfully supervised a minimum of one (1) PhD student and three (3) Masters Students or at least five(5) Masters degree students.
The candidate must have been an Associate Professor (Reader) or a senior lecturer for at least three years in a recognized degree awarding Institution.
Reader/Associate Professor
The candidate must have a PhD degree or Fellowship from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in a relevant field.
He must have a minimum of twenty (20) journal articles, at least four (4) of which must be in Impact Factor-rated journals.
The candidate must have been a senior lecturer in a recognized degree awarding Institution and should have successfully supervised not less than two Master’s degree students.
Senior Lecturer
The candidate must possess a PhD degree or Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent in a relevant field from a recognized institution plus five (5) years post-qualification experience in teaching and research in a degree awarding Institution.
The candidate must also have a minimum of six (6) publications in reputable journals, out of which two must be in impact factor journals.
Lecturer I
The candidate must possess a Master’s degree or Fellowship from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent from a recognized institution in the relevant field plus at least four (4 or 3 years for five-year programmes) years post-qualification teaching and research experience in the case of five year degree programmes.
They must have a minimum of four (4) publications in reputable national and international journals.
Such a candidate should be first named or the corresponding author in not less than two of the journal articles. A PhD degree is an added advantage.
Lecturer II
The candidate must have a second-class honours upper division degree from a recognized University plus a Master’s Degree with a CGPA of at least 4 points on a five-point scale.
In the case of Natural Sciences, the candidate must have at least three (3) years of post-qualification, teaching/research experience in a tertiary Institution (Researchers in National/ Other relevant research Institutes shall be considered), or a PhD from a recognized University.
They must have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Assistant Lecturer
The candidate must have a second-class honours upper division degree from a recognized University plus a Masters’s Degree with a CGPA of at least 4 points on a five-point scale, plus an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Administrative officer II CONTISS 07
Candidates must possess a good honours degree, not below second class lower division from a recognized University, plus an NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Administrative Officer I CONTISS 08
Candidate must possess a good honours degree, not below second class lower from a recognized University, plus three (3) years post qualification cognate experience or a Masters’s Degree.
Candidate must also have NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Assistant Registrar – CONTISS 09
Candidate must possess a good honours Degree of not below second class from a recognized University, plus at least six (6) years post qualification cognate experience or a Masters’s Degree plus at least three years cognate experience.
Registration with any professional body, such as NIM, IMC, ANUPA, etc., will be an added advantage.
Executive Officer – CONTISS 06
Candidate must be a holder of an Ordinary National Diploma or National Diploma or two (2) Advanced level papers in the relevant field from a recognized institution plus evidence of computer literacy.
Years of cognate experience will be an added advantage.
Higher Executive Officer – CONTISS 07
Candidates must possess five (5) Olevel credits, including English language and Mathematics in WASCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE plus a minimum of HND/Degree in the relevant filed from recognized institution evidence of NYSC Discharge /Exemption Certificate is compulsory.
Data Processing Assistant – CONTISS 03
Candidates must possess at least five (5) OLevel credits, including English Language plus proficiency in computer literacy.
Motor Driver /Mechanic – CONTISS 03
Candidates must possess a First School Living Certificate plus a valid group E Driving License.
In the case of Mechanic, the candidate should have Trade Test I, II, and III with three (3) years of experience.
Possession of a West African School Certificate or GCE is an added advantage.
Clerical Officer CONTISS 03
Candidates must possess five (5) Olevel credits, including the English Language.
Evidence of computer literacy will be added advantage.
Technologist II – CONTISS 07
Candidate must possess a good HND/B.Sc. in relevant Technology from a recognized Institution, registered with NISLT or another relevant institute, plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Technologist I – CONTISS 08
Candidate must possess a good HND/B.Sc. in relevant Technology from a recognized Institution plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, registered with NISLT/IMLT or other relevant professional bodies, plus a Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
Senior Technologist CONTISS 09
Candidate must possess a good HND/NISLT/B.Sc. in a relevant field or other recognized equivalent qualification, plus a minimum of six (6) years post qualification cognate experience with evidence of practising license from NISLT or other recognized equivalent professional qualification (NISLT).
Hall Supervisor- CONTISS 06
Candidate must possess a good ND/NCE or OND in Institutional Management or any relevant course, plus three years of experience.
Higher Hall Supervisor – CONTISS 07
Candidate must possess a good University degree or HND in Institutional Management, Institutional House Keeping, or any relevant course from a recognized Institution, plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate. ND, NCE, or OND in Institutional Management, Institution Housekeeping, or another relevant course from a recognized institution, plus five (5) years post-qualification experience.

Candidate must possess an HND or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

Candidate must possess a good B.Sc. degree or HND in Accountancy plus three (3) years post-qualification experience.

Candidate must possess an HND or a B.Sc. in Library Studies/Science from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Lower Credit or 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or evidence of Exemption.
Or Diploma in Library Science/Studies or OND in Librarianship plus five (5) years post qualification cognate experience.
Senior Library Officer (CONTISS)
Candidate must possess an HND/B.Sc. in Library Studies/Science from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Lower Credit or 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate with a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience.
Town Planning Officer II (CONTISS 7)
A good University degree in Urban and Regional Planning from a recognized Institution plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Town Planning Officer I (CONTISS)
Good honours degree in Urban and Regional Planning from a recognized Institution plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate, with three (3) years post-qualification cognate experience.
Or a Masters’s Degree in a relevant field plus an NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Senior Planning Officer (CONTISS 9)
A candidate qualified for Town Planning Officer II with six (6) years post-qualification cognate experience or a Masters’s Degree in a relevant field plus three (3) years of experience.
Building Officer II (CONTISS 7).
A good B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or any other qualification registerable with the Council for the Registration of Builders in Nigeria (CORBON) plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Building Officer I (CONTISS.
Candidate must possess a B.Sc./HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or any other qualification registerable with the Council for the Registration of Builders in Nigeria (CORBON) plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate with three (3) years post-qualification cognate experience.
Or a Masters’s Degree in a relevant field registerable with CORBON.
Senior Building Officer (CONTISS 9)
Candidate with qualification for Building Officer II with six (6) years post-qualification cognate experience.
Must be CORBON registered. Or a Masters’s degree plus three (3) years of experience must be CORBON documented.
Quantity Surveyor II (CONTISS 7)
Candidate must possess a good degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields from a recognized University, plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Or A Pass in the Final Examination of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors/Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
In addition, it must be registered with the Quantity Surveying Regulation Board of Nigeria (QSRBN).
Quantity Surveyor I (CONTISS)
Candidate possessing a good degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields from a recognized University plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

Architect II (CONTISS 7).
B.Sc. in Architecture from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate/Evidence of Exemption.
In addition, it must be registered with the Architecture Regulation Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
Architect I (CONTISS.
Candidate must possess a good honours degree registerable with ARCON, NIA, or a Masters’s Degree in Architecture plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Senior Architect (CONTISS 9).
Candidate must possess a good B.Sc. in Architecture and be registered with ARCON, plus six (6) years of cognate experience.
Or a Masters’s Degree in Architecture plus three (3) years cognate experience with ARCON registered.
Engineer II (CONTISS 7).
B.Sc/HND. in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate, registerable with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Venue: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Time:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 9:00 am prompt.
- The test will run in two sections: morning section, 8 am through 12 noon, and afternoon sections, 12 noon through 4 pm.
- Batches A through D will be in the morning section, while batches E through H will be in the afternoon section.
- Applicants are expected to come for the test with a photo paper bearing their recent passport photograph, full names, email, phone number, and position applied in the format bellow
