Learn how to – How To remove Apache welcome/test page on CentOS 7/8.
The Apache HTTP Server is free and open-source cross-platform web server released under the Apache License. After installation of Apache web server on a CentOS operating system, there is a default welcome test page which looks similar to below.
To remove this welcome page, delete the file
sudo rm -f /etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.confRestart httpd service after deleting welcome test page configuration file.
sudo systemctl restart httpdIf you access the Server hostname or IP address, you should get a directory listing unless you have a web application.
