eSIM Mobile Networks in Nigeria
MTN Nigeria eSIM was launched in July 2020. MTN is the first mobile telecommunications operator to introduce E-SIM Nigeria. Other mobile network providers such as Glo, 9mobile and Airtel Nigeria currently don’t support eSIM technology.

How to Get MTN Nigeria eSIM
MTN customers can visit an MTN service center to perform a SIM Swap into an E-SIM. By scanning the QR code presented by the customer care agent, you’ll automatically begin to download the E-SIM into your smartphone. The MTN E-SIM activation is FREE and the process is quick and easy.
MTN virtual sim services is currently in a test phase in Nigeria for a period of 1 year. During this time, subscribers with compartible smartphones can visit any MTN store to swap and activate an E-SIM or learn more about the service.
