Big Brother Naija Season 8 has commenced with 24 housemates making it to the Big Brother house competing to win the grand prize.
The 72-day-long reality TV show follows the lives of strangers as they interact and compete to win the ultimate grand prize.
How to Vote on Big Brother Naija
Here are the ways to vote on Big Brother Naija for your favourite housemates:
1. Website
Follow these steps to vote for your favourite Housemate via the Africa Magic website:
- Visit Africa Magic website.
- Click on the register link.
- Enter your email address and phone number to register.
- You will see the list of housemates on eviction.
- Select the housemate you wish to vote for.
- Click on the vote icon.
- Your vote will be automatically recorded.
2. Mobile Site
Follow these steps to vote for your favourite Housemate via the Africa Magic mobile site:
- Visit the BBNaija mobile site.
- Tap on the vote menu item on the portal.
- Click on the register icon.
- Enter your name, surname, date of birth, gender, location, phone number, and preferred password into the required columns.
- An OTP code will be sent via SMS to your phone number.
- Enter the OTP code into the required column.
- Click on submit.
- You will see the list of housemates on eviction.
- Select the housemate you wish to vote for.
- Select the number of votes you wish to cast for the housemate and click on vote.
- Your vote will be automatically recorded.
Voting will open every Monday night after the nomination show at 20:00 (WAT)/ 21:00 (CAT) and will close on Thursdays at 21:00 (WAT) / 22:00 (CAT).
One can vote 100 times on the mobile site and website.
If you are a DStv subscriber customer with an eligible package in the selected countries and have the MyDStv or MyGOtv App, you can vote based on your package.
3. MyDStv App or MyGOtv App
If you’re an active subscriber on DSTV or GOTV, then you can vote for your favourite housemate via the MyDStv app or MyGOtv app.
Follow these steps to vote via mobile app:
- To vote, you must first download and register on the app.
- To register, launch the app and click on register.
- Enter your name, surname, date of birth, gender, location, phone number, smartcard number, and your preferred password.
- An OTP code will be sent to you via SMS.
- Enter the OTP code into the required column.
- Click on submit.
4. Online Poll
Voting for your favourite housemates via the online voting poll is quite simple.
All you need to do is click on the name of your favourite housemate and your vote will be automatically recorded.
Voting on the online voting poll is free with no restrictions.
You can vote as many times as possible on the voting polls.
You can also check who has the highest vote this week.
Invite your friends and loved ones to join you and vote for your favourite housemate.
Only one housemate will walk home with the grand prize.
